Inscryption is a masterpiece that oozes with creativity every step of the way, to a degree very few games do.

The mechanics, the story, and the game itself are continually evolving and subverting expectations, while being shrouded in an incredibly immersive and unnerving horror atmosphere. The storytelling and the setting are integrated into the gameplay itself in such impressive and fun ways, from the cards to the escape room puzzles, delivering one of the most unique experiences you’ll ever find in gaming.

The actual card game mechanics and deck-building elements are brilliant and addictive in their simplicity/potential, but even if you aren’t a big fan of card games, Inscryption transcends the genre. The finale completely blew me away, the soundtrack makes such good use of its simplicity, and the art direction fits the vibes perfectly.

I adored absolutely every second of this perfect journey.
