Road 96 is a beautiful, heartfelt, and thrilling journey across the United States, brimming with charming characters and compelling developments across its random sequences. Some narrative branches are more interesting than others, and the political themes are a little on the nose, but it’s an amazing time the whole way through. From encounters with a serial killer to unfeigned discussions with a wary trucker, road 96 has so much to offer that’s well worth exploring. Absolutely love this game.
