Red Bow isn’t terrible by any means, but rather, largely mediocre. What it takes from Japanese folklore is really cool, but the execution is mostly off, fumbling the possibilities with poor writing and poor development. Still, though, the 16-bit world is pretty to look at/make your way through, and figuring out how to deal with each developing situation is a good enough time. I don’t think you’d have a bad time playing this if you enjoy horror and Japanese folklore, but don’t expect anything great.
Is It Worth Playing ?
If the theme appeals to you and you don’t currently have anything better to play, sure, give it a shot.
