Cuphead is amazing in its beautifully emulated retro art design, and addictive in its well crafted boss battles. The exhilaration of discovering a bosses new phase, or finally putting them down after multiple attempts, is
thrilling and gratifying. The gameplay itself, although rather fundamentally simplistic, is fun enough to accompany the great visuals and battles. I also appreciated the fact that most of the gameplay itself is one boss battle after another, tearing out the fluff that usually accompanies platformers like this one. A great game, with great art and fun battles.
