Call of Duty: Black Ops

Black ops is the masterpiece of the franchise, knocking all 3 game modes out of the park while building on the foundations that made World at War so incredible.

The zombies is just as engaging as it was in World at War, while introducing new mechanics, new concepts, and bigger maps (all while maintaining the essence of what makes the Zombies mode so special). I particularly loved Five, which did an excellent job of humorously melding the zombies mode with the historical components from the campaign (while throwing you into a genuinely scary and claustrophobic horror experience).

The multiplayer is easily the biggest improvement on its predecessors, bringing fantastic gunplay, excellent customization (I loved putting my custom emblem on my weapons), and original modes like one in the chamber/gun game, all while introducing some of the most iconic maps of all time (Nuketown? Firing range? Come on). The campaign, while equally great, is different than World at War, trading in that gritty realism for a fun psychological and historical thriller.

No matter which mode you choose, you’re bound to have an incredible time, because Black Ops excels in every single category.

Is It Worth Playing ?

Absolutely.
