Psychopathy assessment tries really hard to be disturbing, without ever reaching the level it’s clearly trying to achieve. The dialogue and the story are incredibly corny, and, with so much buildup to something supposedly horrifying beforehand, the actual horror is rather underwhelming. Still, it’s a short and curated experience that never once had me bored or annoyed, and the ambience is well done. I particularly enjoyed being forced to take a shit, wipe my ass, and wash my hands. If you enjoy linear PS1 style horror games, you’ll likely enjoy this as well.
