I’m going to preface this by saying that I enjoyed playing through this game. The atmosphere is well done, and the visuals are eerily pretty. Unfortunately, the best part of the game (to me) is the beginning, where you travel to the diner and drive around, taking in the scenery. Once you reach the lookout tower, the pacing takes a hit, and the underwhelming horror starts to take root. As you do your ranger chores, the game tries to build its suspense, but it simply isn’t very effective, and the horror itself can be boiled down to one hiding scene, and one chase scene. It’s not a bad game, but there’s just not much here that makes it worth playing.
Is It Worth Playing ?
In terms of substance, not really. If you particularly love atmospheric vibes and horror games, then yes.
