Murderhouse is an incredible homage to ps1 horror, beautifully replicating its elusive charm while still bringing its own haunting ambience to the table.
Every minute of this short experience is strikingly immersive, from its eerily calm exploration to its terrifying chases. The characters and the locations radiate with charm and flair, and the Easter Ripper randomly roaming around the house makes your every move feel tense and nerve wracking. Of all the psl style horror games that have come out in recent years, this one is likely my favorite.
Puppetcombo’s always done a great job replicating and remixing that PS1 style horror, but they’ve honed their craft to a different level with Murderhouse.
