Game Dev Story is as addictive as it is adorable, delivering a fantastic business sim experience.
Managing your gaming startup, creating your own games of different mixed genres that all excel in different ways (creativity, soundtrack, gameplay, graphics, etc.) and winning awards for those games is all incredibly fun. The game is simple in what it offers, but it offers it exceptionally well, from the quirky characters you can hire to the timeline progression of consoles and your own expansion.
I always end up coming back to this game, and it locks me into its magic every time.
