In sound mind is conceptually impressive and narratively compelling, having you, a psychiatrist, explore the horror-filled minds of your dead patients.
The personifications of their various mental illnesses is impressively well done, and I loved seeing the creativity behind how they chose to represent them. Unfortunately, though, a good chunk of the gameplay is dull and tedious. The climax of each patient’s segment is always amazing, but the path to get there is often a bit boring. Still, though, I had a really good time making my way through this surreal experience, filled with great writing and moody atmospheres.
Is It Worth Playing ?
