Knowledge is power is an enjoyable party game, pitting you and some friends against each other in trivia.
There’s genuinely a lot of fun to be had here, and the characters, themes, and powers all enhance the experience. However, there’re multiple issues that take away from the experience, including the trivia itself. Most of the multiple choice questions are simply too easy and straight forward, making much of the game a competition of who can click the answer first, rather than who can click it correctly. The second largest issue is the pacing; the majority of the game isn’t spent answering questions, but rather, waiting in between questions as the narrator’s monologues and other various actions slowly and visibly take place. There is simply no reason for this game to be paced as slowly as it is.
Still, though, it’s a good time, and the power play mechanics are fun and original.
Is It Worth Playing ?
