Return of the Obra Dinn is one of the most unique investigative-puzzle games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing, allowing you to meticulously and flexibly figure out the fates of those who once boarded the ill-fated Obra Dinn.
Despite mostly being comprised of still assets, the storytelling is excellent, protruding with character and excitement alike. The mythological/folklore elements are implemented really well, terrifying in appearance and actions alike. Piecing the story together one step at a time is a lot of fun, and feels really rewarding, though it does tend to border on tedious near the end when clues are running low.
Love this game and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys putting their brains to work.
