Promesa

Promesa is a slow and generally uninteresting walking simulator that leaves a lot to be desired.

The concept of walking through your grandfathers memories is interesting enough, but the execution is dull and boring, having you very slowly make your way through static and mostly similar small environments. Nothing in this game is offensively bad, but a lot of it simply feels soulless. I did like the visuals of some of the memories, but that sliver of appeal here and there doesn’t make up for Promesa’s various shortcomings.

The game simply doesn’t seem to have a story worth telling, or gameplay to make that story compelling.

Is It Worth Playing ?

No; unless you really, really enjoy open ended narratives and walking through small spaces.
