Sagebrush has a wonderfully unsettling ambience and art style, consistently keeping you on your toes from its eerie atmosphere alone. It’s beautiful and simple in its delivery, and I thoroughly enjoyed its cult-driven setting and story. The plot and the writing aren’t necessarily incredible, but they’re good enough to supplement the great environment they’ve built. The gameplay is what you’d expect from a walking sim, but Sagebrush definitely makes up for it with its other impressive qualities.
Is It Worth Playing ?
If you appreciate oppressive atmospheres and great storytelling, yes, definitely.
