Mundaun is visually stunning, featuring a gorgeous and original hand-penciled aesthetic amidst its calming-yet-horrific Swiss setting. Traversing through the landscapes and taking in the beauty of it all was definitely the highlight of my experience with this game, though its story (and the methodical unraveling of its mysteries) was enjoyable as well. The game’s a little slow paced, and the way it handled enemy encounters wasn’t my favorite, but I otherwise had a great time with this beautiful game.
