The Enemy Within is a solid choose your own adventure game, succeeding as both a good sequel, and a worthy addition to Telltales library.
The action is pretty well done for this type of game, and your choices feel impactful enough. Navigating a delicate relationship with a growingly unstable Joker is just as fun as you’d expect, hitting some emotional beats pretty well. Batman and Joker’s growing and deceitful relationship is easily the heart of this story, but the subplots are pretty good too. Infiltrating the villain’s base as an undercover agent is a little goofy in execution, but still a pretty great time.
A solid game all around.
